Markcom’s core activities are serving as a Manufacturer’s Representative or Distributor of HIREL MICROELECTRONICS and RF and MICROWAVE products, and providing sales, marketing and post-sales support for the firms whose products we represent or sell in the Indian market. Our Associate companies are also developing solutions in the Software/IT and Eco-Energy Development segments.

The Digiprotech Group of Companies was established in 1987 in Singapore and Bangalore. The objective of the companies was to serve as a Manufacturer’s representative for American companies who wanted to develop a market in India for their products. From the very beginning, the Digiprotech companies sought to provide added value for their Principles by providing services that brought down cost of production and marketing into a highly competitive and growing market space.

A Design Automation Center for Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) followed in 1989. A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) module manufacturing and assembly center was opened in 1994. A sister firm, Markcom, was established in the US in 1994 to better address the needs of Digiprotech's growing list of US principles. Since then the Digiprotech Markcom Group has been venturing into myriad areas such as Information Technology, Software, and LCD Module manufacturing, Eco-Energy project Development and the Herbal personal care products etc.

Our Group’s presence in the Indian market is significant. We are #2 in LCD modules manufacturing in India. We are also in the Top 10 Manufacturer’s Representative and Distributor in the RF and Microwave sector in India. We have offices in Northern Virginia, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, New Delhi and Singapore.
